What is LA2Base?
LA2Base is a restored historical archive and an evolving Russian-language knowledge base dedicated to Lineage 2. The project was founded in 2005 as a collection of guides, articles, and technical documentation for server administrators, developers, and experienced players.
Project history
From 2005 to 2010, LA2Base.ru was a well-known information resource within the Russian-speaking Lineage 2 community. It published materials about configuring L2J and PTS servers, web tools, game client modifications, and working with Linux and Windows.
Active development of the project ended in 2010, and the surviving materials remained without updates for many years.
Today, the archive has been restored and is available again. We preserve articles, guides, and community materials from the original project while building a modern knowledge base.
What is available on the website
- Guides and tutorials — archived and newly published materials covering the server-side and client-side aspects of Lineage 2.
- L2J and PTS documentation — technical resources for server administrators and developers.
- Wiki — a new knowledge base created and expanded by the community.
- File database — a section that is currently being populated and developed.
Ongoing development
LA2Base is undergoing active restoration and development. Our main areas of work include:
- restoring lost links and files;
- reviewing and updating archived materials;
- publishing new articles, guides, and technical documentation;
- expanding the Wiki and file database;
- improving user-facing, reference, and legal sections.
